Today marks the 4th anniversary of the late Steve Jobs' death. Jobs is clearly one of the most innovative people we have have seen in our generation. While there is a lot written about him, one article I have read has stood out. Micheal Simmons, in discussing success, does a fantastic job of describing two unique contrasting qualities that Jobs possessed: "maniacal focus" and "insatiable curiosity."
I would characterize this as the ultimate way of being able to zoom in and zoom out. In his article, Simmons captures this duality of curiosity meeting focus with an interesting timeline of Steve Jobs:
Keep that in mind, somethings are often labeled and dismissed as diversions, before their impact is fully understood.
