One of the many benefits of working here at SlideBelts is the "SlideBelts Library." Brig and Michelle have done an excellent job of integrating some really relevant books into our culture.
I realize sometimes one can struggle to find time for reading, here are 4 tips that might help.
1. Minimize distractions by increasing the physical distance of your laptop, phone, etc.
2. Create a "reading trigger" by tying reading to another positive habit. For example, read while you eat breakfast or after working out.
3. Bring a book with you, leave it in your car, or when waiting at an appointment. When you have the urge to check your email, log into social media, etc., read instead.
4. Do not focus on the total number of pages required to finish the book. Instead, focus on reading 15 or 20 pages per day.
